§ Mr. H. MorrisonA National Fire Service flag has been approved and presented to the Service. The flag is flown daily at appropriate National Fire Service establishments: no instructions have yet been issued on the question of saluting the flag, but I am aware that in some National Fire Service establishments a simple ceremony is observed daily when the flag is hoisted.
Mr. Robertsonasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that trailer-pump teams from Streatham and other places attend on Sunday mornings for training at fire stations and on each occasion some or all of them have been soaked to the skin; and will he take immediate steps to have waterproof clothing available for the use of these middle-aged volunteers?
