§ Mr. I Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Air whether, in view of the present highly organised state of the resistance movement inside France and the greater accuracy of sabotage compared with air bombing, and also in the interests of Anglo-French good-will after the war, he will, subject to the overriding needs of strategy, divert our bombing raids from French to German targets to an increasing extent?
§ Sir A. SinclairThe main weight of our attack is already directed against Germany. The amount of bombs dropped on France is relatively small and the proportion of bombing done on French as compared with German targets has decreased during the past three years.
