asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is prepared to approximate the conditions under which regular soldiers become entitled to war service grants to those applying to soldiers enlisted after the outbreak of war?

Command Paper 6318 of 1941, which extended the scope of the scheme of war service grants, made no distinction between soldiers serving on a regular engagement and those serving on a temporary engagement; accordingly, the scheme now applies to both classes.
