§ Dr. Petersasked the Minister of Health on what grounds the services of highly skilled osteopaths have been declined; why men and women in His Majesty's Services are not permitted to be treated by osteopaths, especially in cases where other medical treatment has not been effective; and whether he has any information to show the number of persons who have been discharged from His Majesty's Services to whom osteopathic treatment might have been applied, whether or not under, medical advice, or to whom such treatment has been applied successfully after discharge?

There is no restriction on the use of the services of osteopaths who are registered medical practitioners and men and women in His Majesty's Forces are allowed to make their own arrangements to be treated by them under the normal rules. I am informed that the answer to the last part of the Question is not available.
