HC Deb 14 April 1943 vol 388 cc1220-1W
Mr. Naylor

asked the President of the Board of Trade (1) whether consideration is being given, in post-war planning, to the practicability of international bartering of commodities;

(2) whether consideration is being given, in post-war planning, to the question of securing an agreed fiscal policy among the nations concerned?

Mr. Dalton

His Majesty's Government are giving close attention to all practicable measures for securing, by international agreement, conditions favourable to an expanding world trade after the war.
