§ Mr. Kennedyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport when he expects to be able to report progress towards the construction of complementary Tay and Forth road bridges as necessary parts of a national road to the North of Scotland; and if it is intended that the financial basis of construction will contain adequate financial relief for the county of Fife from the additional burden that would fall on it compared with other areas?
§ Mr. Noel-BakerWhen the time comes to consider the place of new crossings over the Forth or the Tay in any scheme of highway development in Scotland, my right hon. Friend may be assured that the financial position of the county of Fife will not be left out of account.
