HC Deb 30 September 1942 vol 383 c787W
Sir W. Davison

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Planning what person or body lodged an appeal with the Special Appeal Panel for the retention of the railings in Camp-den Hill Square after such railings had been scheduled for removal by the borough council and portions of the same had actually been removed; and whether he is aware that no application in this regard was made to the Kensington Borough Council?

Mr. Hicks

In view of the still growing demands for scrap metal I am asking the special Headquarters Appeal Panel to re-examine their recommendation to the Minister in this case and the Kensington Borough Council are being so informed.
