HC Deb 29 September 1942 vol 383 c687W
Mr. W. Brown

asked the Prime Minister what steps he proposes to take in regard to the staffs of the Department of Overseas Trade, now employed in the section dealing with post-war export planning, in view of the statement that planning for anything as complex as the export trade was impossible, which was made by the Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Trade at the recent conference of the Liberal Party?

The Prime Minister

I am informed that no such statement was made by my hon. Friend.
