HC Deb 29 September 1942 vol 383 c682W
Sir L. Lyle

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the undesirability of taking farmers away from harvesting to hear official speeches an alternative local means of publicity as to the wishes of his Department can be efficiently utilised?

Mr. T. Williams

My right hon. Friend is not aware that farmers have been taken away from the harvest to hear official speeches, and the second part of the Question does not therefore arise.
