HC Deb 11 September 1942 vol 383 c537W
Captain Crawford Browne

asked the President of the Board of Trade the reason for his Department's delay in dealing definitely with the question of shortage of trade supplies in the case of Northern Ireland ladies' and gentlemen's hairdressers?

Captain Waterhouse

During a period of several months the Board of Trade have arranged for considerable quantities of toilet preparations to be directed to Northern Ireland and I cannot agree that the supplies there compare unfavourably with those in other parts of this country.
