§ Mr. ButlerThe Belgian children living at Brixham receive instruction half-time in the local public elementary schools and half-time in halls under -their own teachers, with the assistance of two teachers of English provided by the British Council. The few French children in the area are receiving full-time instruction in the public elementary schools. These arrangements were made in consultation with H.M. Inspector, whose assistance and advice are always available. As regards the Scottish institutions, I would refer my hon. Friend to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland.
