HC Deb 08 September 1942 vol 383 c45W
Mr. E. Walkden

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that at displays by Women's Voluntary Service offices of methods of preserving fruit and vegetables the bulletins of the Ministry of Agriculture, while displayed, are not allowed to be sold; and whether he will take steps to see that there shall be no restriction of this kind in future on the sale of suitable Stationery Office publications by the Women's Voluntary Service?

Mr. T. Williams

I have been asked to reply. Inquiries into the restriction of the sale of official bulletins at displays are being made, but are not yet complete, and I will communicate with the hon. Member in due course.
