BrownIncomplete information at present before me, representing about 90 per cent. of the local authorities whom I have asked for returns, shows that in the six months ended 30th June last, out of some 13,400 children notified as suffering from diphtheria about nine-tenths were children who had not been immunised, and that in 797 fatal cases there were 780 non-immunised children, as against 17 who had been inoculated.
