§ Mr. TomlinsonThe length of notice given to men directed to employment on urgent building contracts must be considered in regard to the importance of manning the work speedily, but there is a right of appeal to an independent Appeal Board which can be exercised by men in cases of the kind indicated by my hon. Friend or in other circumstances where hardship may be involved.
