asked the Minister of Labour how many persons of military age in universities, students and staff, are now exempt from military service; and whether he is satisfied that such exemptions apply only to those students and staff whose teaching and studies are related to those professions which are helpful in the prosecution of the war?

There are no exemptions except those provided by Statute. As regards deferments or reservations the arrangements are carefully designed to secure the object described in the second part of the Question.
