HC Deb 15 October 1942 vol 383 cc1785-6W
Mr. Thorne

asked the Secretary of State for War how many times Dover has been damaged by German guns at Calais on the French coast; whether any gun has been able to shell Calais from Dover; and how many people have been killed at Dover?

Sir J. Grigg

I do not think it would be in the national interest to make any statement on this subject.
