§ Mr. Brookeasked the Paymaster-General whether he is aware that men in the Forces now serving overseas are uncertain whether men serving at home will be given priority over them in demobilisation and return to civilian jobs when the war is over, to the detriment of their own chances of employment after 1228W being demobilised; and whether he can make any statement on the progress of the committee which is charged with laying plans for orderly demobilisation so as to minimise the risks of unemployment at that stage?
