§ Miss WilkinsonThe special travel voucher scheme was only discontinued last January by the Regional Commissioner after the fullest consideration of all relevant factors, including the availability of billets in the Glasgow area. I have consulted the Regional Commissioner on the suggestion that the scheme should now be restored, but in all the circumstances I do not feel justified in asking him to reintroduce at this date a scheme which is primarily designed to meet conditions arising immediately after a heavy raid.
