§ Mr. BevinCertain additional measures were instituted last July, in co-operation with the police authorities, for dealing with cases of suspected evasion of liability to national service. The operation of these measures is being watched and if necessary they will be strengthened, though I should add that there is no evidence that this is a problem of any size.
