HC Deb 26 November 1942 vol 385 c889W
Mr. Astor

asked the Minister of Information whether he will arrange for copies of the paper, "Parade," produced by General Headquarters, Middle East, to be circulated to editors in England, the Dominions and the United States of America, with permission for reproduction of articles, and for copies to be placed in the Library of the House?

Mr. Thurtle

This admirable paper is not in any way under the control of the Ministry of Information. It is produced for the benefit of Forces in the Middle East and as it is in great demand by them, I should not like to ask for any substantial number to be diverted from their proper purpose. Arrangements can usually be made for the reproduction of particular articles. I will certainly try to arrange for copies to be placed in the Library.
