HC Deb 26 November 1942 vol 385 cc902-3W
Mr. W. Brown

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury in how many Government Departments, and which, Departmental Committees have been set up to examine present methods of discharging the work, and present dispositions of man-power, with a view to effecting savings of man-power; and in how many, and which, Departments where such committees have been set up, representation has been given to the associations having members in the Departments?

Captain Crookshank

The information for which the hon. Member asks is not readily available. It would take considerable time and trouble to collect and I do not think I should be justified in asking Departments to furnish it.
