§ Mr. W. Brownasked the Minister of Supply in what circumstances the supplies of paper have been withdrawn from the publication "Free Austria," the only journal published in English for Austrians in Britain; and whether he will see to it that supplies are made available for this paper?
§ Sir A. DuncanThe publication of periodicals which were not in existence before August, 1940, is prohibited. Exceptions have been made in the case of a limited number of periodicals, and these included for a time a publication with the title cited. In granting licences for the supply of paper for publications I rely on the advice of the Department concerned, which in this case is the Ministry of Information.
