HC Deb 10 November 1942 vol 383 c2324W
Mr. Ness Edwards

asked the Home Secretary whether his Department has any statistics of the growing incidence of Buerger's disease in hands and arms of coalminers using automatic tools; and whether he has considered scheduling this disease?

Mr. H. Morrison

No, Sir. I am advised that there is no evidence that this disease is associated with the use of pneumatic tools. If my hon. Friend has any definite cases, I should be glad if he would let me have particulars when I will consult with my right hon. and gallant Friend the Minister of Fuel and Power.
