asked the Minister of Information how many persons are in the whole-time employment of his Department in America; how many are employed part-time; and what is the approximate annual cost of the service?

321 persons are employed whole-time by the British Information Service in the U.S.A., and 19 part-time. The total of salaries, wages and allowances is approximately £150,000 per annum.
