Mr. HudsonApplications for hill sheep subsidy have in the first instance to be investigated by county war agricultural executive committees before they can be certified and forwarded to my Department for payment. A substantial number of certified claims from Cumberland has now been received, and these claims are being examined. Payment of subsidy has already been made to 121 applicants.
