§ Mr. HicksI assume that by war workers my hon. Friend means those engaged in munition factories, aircraft factories and dockyards, together with agricultural workers. My Department is building accommodation for 46,000 single workers and, in addition, hostels to house 6,400 married men with their families. Quarters for a total of some 24,000 of these have been completed. The two other Departments named are building similar accommodation on their own account, but I have no up-to-date information as to the amount completed or in hand.
