HC Deb 26 March 1942 vol 378 c2175W
Mr. Crowder

asked the Attorney-General whether, in view of the fact that many flat dwellers have agreements with their landlords to supply them with adequate heat and light, he will ensure that under any rationing scheme steps will be taken to regularise the position between landlord and tenant in this respect on a fair and equitable basis?

The Attorney-General

Consideration of the point which my hon. Friend makes must depend very largely on the terms of the scheme for rationing heat and light which my hon. Friend proposes to introduce in due course. I will draw my hon. Friend's attention to the point raised in the Question.
