asked the Minister of Health whether he will inquire into, with a view to remedying, the case, details of which have been furnished to him, of a British woman physician of high profes- sional standing and reputation, who has been refused o permission to continue the use of diathermy apparatus upon which her extensive practice and research work depend?

I have been asked to reply. I have received a joint deputation from the British Medical Association and the Parliamentary Medical Committee in regard to the restrictions at present placed on the use of electrical diathermy apparatus, and I have tae matter under consideration. I will reply to my hon. Friend as soon as I can.
