§ Mr. H. MorrisonThe last volume of criminal statistics—that for 1938—was published in January, 1940. It has since been decided, in view of the need for strict economy in the use of paper, that the publication of Government reports should be suspended, where circumstances permit, during the war, and this decision must be applied to the volume of criminal statistics as to other Government publications.
