HC Deb 17 March 1942 vol 378 cc1346-7W
Mr. Groves

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the fact that 80 per cent. of the recruits for the Armed Forces require dental treatment; and what special arrangements have been made to meet these circumstances?

Mr. Sandys

I am aware that at least 80 per cent. of recruits to the Army need dental treatment on enlistment. Full provision has been made for it by the expansion of the Army Dental Corps and the provision of extra Army dental centres and laboratories and mobile dental units.
