HC Deb 12 March 1942 vol 378 c1215W
Mr. Groves

asked the Minister of Health the value to his Department of the expenditure on the protection of practices scheme connected with the medical profession?

Mr. E. Brown

The value of the scheme is that it facilitates the maintenance of an efficient medical service for insured persons during the war. The expenditure falling on insurance committees in connection with the scheme is very small, and cannot be separated from their other administration expenses.
