§ Mr. Harold MacmillanSeven of the Palestinian refugees, together with the women and children, who were handed over by the Persian authorities, were permitted to return to Palestine. None of these men has been the subject of criminal charges. Six refugees, including Jamal Husseini, were sent to Southern Rhodesia for internment. No permission has been given to any of these to return to Palestine. Nor, so far as I am aware, are negotiations proceeding for the return of any other group of refugees to Palestine.
