§ Mr. Emeryasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the difficulties of parents in sufficiently clothing their children with the present ration; and whether he will consider reducing the clothing ration for adults and proportionately increasing it for children up to 12 years of age?
§ Mr. DaltonI have no reason to think that the present clothing ration for children is inadequate, having regard to the difficulties of the supply situation. All children receive a supplementary ration of 10 coupons in the present rationing period. In addition, they benefit substantially by the lower coupon rates for their clothing.
