HC Deb 11 June 1942 vol 380 c1266W
Dr. Morgan

asked the Prime Minister whether he will consider making representations to the Free Czechoslovakian Government in London as one of the Allied nations so that steps may be taken to mark as an historic site for future commemoration the scene of the shooting of Heydrich; and to broadcast such a decision to all the conquered populations of European countries as a tribute to the brave men involved and to the murdered innocent hostages executed in revenge, and that all similar sites will be treated as places of commemoration?

Mr. Law

I have been asked to reply. This matter is one for the Czechoslovak Government; and it would be inappropriate for His Majesty's Government to make any representations to them in regard to it.
