asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the cost to the Exchequer in issuing transfer deeds free to the public from 1st September, 1939, to 31st March, 1942, and the concession to stock exchange firms under Section 42 of the Finance Act, 1920, and the amendment of I931 for the same period; the extent to which each stock exchange has taken advantage of that privilege; and the aggregate totals involved for the period from September, 1920, to 31st March, 1942?
