§ Sir F. Fremantleasked the Minister of Labour what arrangements are made for the service of ophthalmic surgeons to be available to factory workers throughout the country; and to what extent he relies on the service of sight-testing opticians?
§ Mr. McCorquodaleThere are no special arrangements of a comprehensive kind for the services of ophthalmic surgeons to be available for factory workers as such, but I understand that in a few cases factory managements have made arrangements to assist their workers in obtaining advice from such surgeons or from sight-testing opticians.
