HC Deb 04 June 1942 vol 380 c832W
Dr. Haden Guest

asked the Minister of Health, what special arrangements are made for the supply of milk to patients in hospital suffering from pulmonary or other forms of tuberculosis?

Mr. E. Brown

Persons suffering from active tuberculosis whether in hospital or not are entitled to priority supplies of milk. The term "active" is taken as meaning "unhealed," and covers cases with artificial pneumothorax in whom the disease is considered to be unhealed.
