§ Mr. Welshasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he is aware that Mr. J. McGarva was dismissed from his position of fireman at Cardowan Colliery, Lanarkshire, in April; that the case was tried before the appeal tribunal on 20th May and the tribunal decided that Mr. McGarva was to be restored to his work as a fireman; that the manager refused to start him and it was only on 3rd June he was allowed to start in the colliery as a repairer; and will he take steps to prevent the manager disregarding the decisions of the tribunal and see that Mr. McGarva is restored to his former place?
