WoodThe total balance of the first instalment of the War Damage Contribution which is still outstanding about £6,500,000, but a proportion of this relates to the contributions in respect of properties damaged by enemy action, collection of which is suspended in accordance with the provisions of Section 33 of the War Damage Act, 1941.
