§ Captain MargessonThe procedure for the auditing of regimental funds is laid down in King's Regulations and detailed 585W instructions are issued for the guidance of officers concerned. The normal practice is for the proceedings of an audit board composed of officers of the unit concerned to be placed before the commander under whom the unit is serving after approval by the commanding officer. I do not consider there is any necessity to alter the existing procedure which has worked satisfactorily for many years.
