Mr. HudsonI am aware of the difficulties attaching to sugar -beet cultivation under war conditions and that some dissatisfaction has been expressed with regard to the 1941 contract price. Growers are offered a substantially increased contract price for 1942, which I hope will ensure the full cultivation of the larger acreage required in the national interest.
