HC Deb 25 February 1942 vol 378 cc219-20W
Wing-Commander Hulbert

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he can give an assurance that all aircraft not flown away from Singapore were either destroyed or made unserviceable to the enemy?

Sir A. Sinclair

Information is necessarily incomplete, but all serviceable aircraft were evacuated by air and I think it can be assumed that none was left in a condition likely to be of value to the enemy.
