HC Deb 19 February 1942 vol 377 c1913W
Mr. McEntee

asked the Attorney-General whether he proposes to submit for the consideration of the court in the proceedings instituted by the trustees for an interpretation of the charity trust deed involved in Case T 1193/6/38, all the evidence which is in the possession of, and has been offered to, the Commissioners of Inland Revenue; and does he propose to call witnesses who have offered to give evidence in court?

The Attorney-General

As stated in my answer to my hon. Friend on 23rd October, 1941, the evidence must be limited to the issues raised in these proceedings. The evidence in the possession of the Crown to which I think my hon. Friend refers is not relevant to those issues but is being considered with regard to the other issues raised by this case.
