HC Deb 18 February 1942 vol 377 cc1813-4W
Mr. Purbrick

asked the Minister of Information whether, to counteract any tendency to depression, he will require the direction of the British Broadcasting Corporation to cut out of their pro- grammes dull music and talks which interest few of the public, and substitute for it gay and patriotic musical numbers?

Mr. Bracken

I will draw the attention of the Governors of the B.B.C. to my hon. Friend's Question.
