HC Deb 12 February 1942 vol 377 c1594W
Sir W. Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware of an attempt among certain German refugees in this country, with the support of a small body of British citizens, to form a free German movement in Great Britain with a view to saving Germany after the war from disarmament and punishment for the crimes of her armed forces and agents in Russia, Poland and other countries occupied by her; and whether he will give an assurance to the House and to the country that under no circumstances will any such movement receive recognition?

Mr. Law

His Majesty's Government are naturally informed of the activities of the German refugee groups in this country. No form of recognition has been given to any of these groups.
