HC Deb 11 February 1942 vol 377 c1536W
Mr. Wootton-Davies

asked the Secretary for Petroleum whether, in view of the suggestion of the Ministry of Agriculture to the farming interests that petrol is best kept in two-gallon tins, he will ensure that coupons are issued in two units instead of, as is now the case, in three?

Mr. Lloyd

I presume the hon. Member refers to coupons of the "F" series issued for agricultural purposes. The form of application for such coupons invites the farmer to say whether he desires coupons of two, three or more units, and a farmer who asks for 2-unit coupons will receive them.
