HC Deb 11 February 1942 vol 377 cc1547-8W
Mr. T. Smith

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that some of the smaller firms, manufacturing clothing and other wearing apparel, periodically are short of raw materials, while larger firms have adequate supplies; and whether he will do something to assist the smaller firms?

"To review the position of the herring industry and the problems which are likely to confront it after the war and to report."
