HC Deb 05 February 1942 vol 377 c1284W
Sir I. Albery

asked the Home Secretary what was the nature of the offence for which Mrs. Kenwright, detained under Regulation 18B, was removed, under disciplinary conditions, to Douglas Prison from Port Erin; and what was the punishment awarded?

Mr. H. Morrison

Mrs. Kenwright was removed to Douglas Prison not by way of punishment on any specific disciplinary charge but because her conduct in the women's camp was such as to make her temporary removal from camp necessary in the interests of discipline and of the comfort of her fellow detainees.
