HC Deb 03 February 1942 vol 377 c1069W
Mr. Daggar

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware of the dissatisfaction that exists amongst members of Air Training Corps squadrons because, in the event of accidents arising during training, compensation, according to Orders, Series No. 10, page 1, issued 24th June, 1941, is limited to payment on an ex-gratia basis; and will he consider that a more definite provision should be made in case of accident?

Captain Balfour

I am not aware of any dissatisfaction with the existing arrangement which in common with other features of Air Training Corps administration is kept under constant review. If, however, the hon. Member has any particular case in mind and will let me have details, I shall be glad to consider it.
