asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether, on the London and North Eastern Railway, Bishop Auckland branch line, arrangements can be made, in view of the recent curtailments in the omnibus services, whereby the 11.17 p.m. Durham to Bishop Auckland train could stop at Brandon Colliery station en route every night in addition to Saturdays as at present?

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether, on the Durham to Bishop Auckland line of the London and North Eastern Railway, the 10.15 p.m. Durham to Brancepeth train, operating only on Saturdays, could be allowed to complete its journey at Willington, which is the next station and approximately 2½ miles distant to Brancepeth, where full staff is on duty and ample facilities exist to arrange for the return journey of the train?
